THOUSANDS OF ARGENTINES CELEBRATE FLAG DAY.
Thousands of Argentines circle the National Flag Monument carrying a 3.5 kilometer-long (10,500 feet) national flag in celebration of Flag Day in Rosario, 530 miles north Buenos Aires, on June 20, 2001. A group of volunteers sewed the blue and white strips during three years to form, according to them, the longest flag in the world.
