Argentine President Fernando De la Rua waves as he leaves a clinic in
Buenos Aires after a routine checkup, July 20, 2001, accompanied by
security officers. De la Rua went through an angioplasty to relieve an
obstruction in a coronary artery on June 8, 2001. The President's
medical test was postponed from Saturday because he had to work on
getting political support for the new economic measures.
