Buenos Aires, Argentina (Argentine Republic)
HUNDREDS OF UNEMPLOYED ARGENTINE WORKERS RALLY AGAINST ECONOMIC
POLICIES IN BUENOS AIRES.
Hundreds of Argentine unemployed workers march over a bridge connecting
Buenos Aires with suburbs at the end of a three-day protest with
roadblocks across the country against the government's economic
policies as well as ongoing negotiations with the International
Monetary Fund, November 20, 2002. Stuck in a nearly five years of
recession, Argentina is undergoing its worst economic crisis ever where
half of the 36 million people live under the line of poverty.
