HOSKINS, LAW, WEISZ AND ANNAUD AT BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL.
French film director Jean-Jacques Annaud (R) poses with actress Rachel Weisz (2nd R), British actors Jude Law (2nd L) and Bob Hoskins (L) before the screening of the film "Enemy at the Gates" at the 51st Berlin Film Festival February 7, 2001. The film is a German-American co-production about the bloodiest battle in history directed by Annaud in Berlin. Filmed in English, the World War II drama pits a German and a Russian sniper against each other during the epic 1942 battle at Stalingrad. Germany lost the battle, which was a major turning point in the war. A total of 15 feature films will have world premieres at the Berlinale.
