ACTRESS RACHEL WEISZ ATTENDS NEWS CONFERENCE AT THE BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL.
Rachel Weisz smiles as she attends the news conference February 7, 2001 for 51st Berlin Film Festival which starts today screening the film "Enemy at the Gates," in which she stars. The film is a German-American co-production about the bloodiest battle in history directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud in Berlin. Filmed in English, the World War II drama pits a German and a Russian sniper against each other during the epic 1942 battle at Stalingrad. Germany lost the battle, which was a major turning point in the war. A total of 15 feature films will have world premieres at the Berlinale, Europe's first major film showcase each year and considered one of the world's top festivals after Cannes.
