A U.S. Navy F/A-18C Hornet attack fighter makes its approach to the
deck of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt after completing a
strike mission on Afghanistan November 23, 2001. The Afghan Islamic
Press (AIP) news agency said,quoting a Taliban spokesman in Kunduz,
U.S. warplanes pounded eastern and northeastern parts of the city,
killing and wounding dozens of people. The report could not be
