US TROOPS AT DESTROYED ENEMY POSITIONS IN AFGHANISTAN.
United States 10th Mountain Division Major Brad Herndon from Fort Drum,
New York looks at a cassette he found at an al Qaeda or Taliban
encampment that was hit by U.S. fire,March 16, 2002 on the mountain top
known as the "Whale" in the Shahikot valley region of eastern
Afghanistan. The encampment was hit during Operation Anaconda as
coalition troops pursue al Qaeda and Taliban in Afghanistan.
