The Pearl Canopy of Baroda seen at Sotheby's in New York ahead of auction sale
The Pearl Canopy of Baroda, a stunning, rarely seen bejeweled, nearly 150-year-old canopy from India which includes over 500,000 pearls, as well as numerous diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds sewn on silk with floral "Persian-style" vines made with colored beads circling the canopy is seen at Sotheby's in New York, in this picture taken March 7, 2011.
