A Greenpeace protester lies face-down during a peformance of a Japanese dance form known as Butoh during a protest against whaling outside the Japanese consulate in Sydney April 23, 2002. Greenpeace delivered a statement signed by over 100 scientist, asking Japan to stop "scientific whaling" which they say still results in whale meat turining up on restaurant tables. The dance peformance, which coincided with 14 other such demonstrations around the world, was to demonstrate that the environmental group was protesting against whaling and not against Japan.
