Collection Supervisor at the Australian Museum's Division of Invertebarte Zoology, Ian Loch, examines a marine mollusc known as a tusk shell June 18. A recent study by the museum of 5000 specimens from Australia and around the world, uncovered 47 new species out of a total of 108 identified. The Museum has over one million sea shell moluscs in its collection.
