Fireworks light up Sydney's Harbour Bridge as the New Year is welcomed in Sydney with a two million dollar ($1.3 million) display December 31. An estimated 500,000 people flocked to the city's foreshore to watch the spectacular show where more than 20,000 fireworks, equivalent to two shipping containers were detonated.
