Britain's Queen Elizabeth II (L) meets Australian Aboriginal leader Evelyn Scott (R) at Government House in Canberra March 20. Scott, the government-appointed chairwoman of the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation, was the only Aboriginal leader to be granted a private audience with the queen. The British monarch is in Australia on a 16-day nationwide visit, her first since 1992.
