Protesters burn an Indonesian Army flag during a protest outside the Indonesian Consulate April 21, 2001 against the Indonesian Army's presence in the province of Aceh. A crowd of around sixty protesters shouted slogans and held banners whilst also calling for a UN sponsored independance vote for Aceh, similar to the one held for East Timor in 1999.
