Red Cross doctors Tupi (L) and Martina Rinnhofer are all smiles following the release of a miner who had been trapped in a collapsed mine for more than one week and was brought to the surface in remarkable good health July 26. The miner Georg Hainzl, who became trapped on July 17 after a mud-slide filled the magnesium silicate mine in Austria's worst post-war mining disaster, was pulled up from 60 meters underground through a narrow drill shaft at about 2045 GMT.
