between 1698 and 1740, at Vienna's Schoenbrunn castle April 17, 2003.
After the last remaining hedges had been felled in the late 19th
century, a new maze extending over 1.715 square metres (2.051 square
yards) with a viewing platform at its centre was opened in autumn 1998,
taking the historical model into account where possible.
