ARMY'S ANTI-TERRORIST SMARTRUCK.
The SmarTruck anti-terrorist vehicle, designed by the U.S. Army's vehicle
research and development unit and shown to journalists on January 9, 2002,
at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, boasts this high-tech,
electronic countermeasure deployment gear built into its passeger seatback.
The SmarTruck, a specially modified electronic showcase of military
capability, built by MSX International, has bulletproof armor, the latest in
wireless communications and features like the ability to toss out dozens of
