BILL FORD INTRODUCES GT40 CONCEPT VEHICLE IN DETROIT.
Ford Motor Company Chairman William Clay Ford Jr., introduces the Ford GT40
concept January 6, 2002, at the North American International Auto Show in
Detroit, Michigan. The new high-performance concept is inspired by the
legendary GT40 introduced in the 60's by Henry Ford II (William's uncle).
The power plant is an all-American V-8 from Ford's modular engine family.
