A MODEL SITS INSIDE A REVA ELECTRIC CAR IN NEW DELHI.
A model sits inside a Reva electric car in front of the Ministry of non-Conventional Energy Sources building in New Delhi, May 31, 2001. Reva is the first electric car that is being mass-produced in India and is a non-polluting vehicle. The car has an onboard charger and can be charged anywhere, at home or at work, by simply plugging in to a 220-volt, 15 ampere socket.
