ROLLS ROYCE CEO TONY GOTT IN NEW ROLLS CORNICHE CONVERTIBLE.
CEO of British luxury car maker Rolls Royce Tony Gott poses in the company's newest convertible, the Corniche, which he introduced on January 10 at the North American International Auto Show at Detroit's Cobo Center. The passenger compartment is furnished with wood, leather and Wilton carpeting. Built only to order, the Corniche sports a 6.75 liter, light pressure charged V8 engine engine that pumps out 325 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 738 Nm (544 lb.ft.) of torque between 2,100 and 2,300 rpm. Rolls Royce expects to receive orders for about 400 Corniches. The Corniche will probably cost about 250,000 pounds sterling, DM 685,000 or US$359,990 plus taxes.
