Police officers speak to anti-government protesters as they march towards the U.S. Embassy in Bahrain to protest against the life-sentence of Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, in capital Manama, April 3, 2012. Khawaja is on a hunger strike for over 50 days now as a protest against his life sentence last year. Bahrain's Ministry of Interior statement said that al-Khawaja has been provided full medical care in accordance with the regulations. Al-Khawaja was transferred to Al Qala Detention Center in the capital for better monitoring and treatment if necessary the statement said.
