FOR RELEASE WITH STORY BC-BANGLADESH-MYANMAR - Some of the 21,000 Moslem refugees from Myanmar gather near their camp at Kutupalong in Bangladesh's southeastern border district of Cox's Bazar. The majority of the refugees have lived in Bangladesh since 1992 after fleeing from their homes in Myanmar's western Moslem-majority Arakan province, bordering Bangladesh, to escape alleged persecution, rape and killing by the Myanmar military junta. Other refugees have been born in their camps in Kutupalong and nearby Teknaf area over the past nine years, repatriation officials say. Picture taken 24MAY99.
