SALTED FISH FOR SALE AT VILLAGE MARKET IN BATURITI ON BALI.
Baskets of salted fish are offered for sale in the early morning at a village market in Baturiti, Bali, August 12, 2003. While tourism plays a major role in Bali's economy, a large percentage of the population still works in the fields, with coffee and cattle being the major agricultural exports. Almost 200 people, most of them foreign tourists, were killed on October 12, 2002, when bombs ripped through a popular nightspot on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.
