A worker from "APB BirdLife Belarus" takes measurements of carbon dioxide gas levels in a marsh near the village of Rozhno, some 120 km (75 miles) east of Minsk, April 12, 2012. The project named "Restoring peatlands and applying concepts for sustainable management in Belarus. A climate change mitigation with economic and biodiversity benefits" has been running in the country since September 2008. The project will rewet over 14,000 hectares of degraded peatland and quantify greenhouse gas emission reductions, participants said. REUTERS/Vasily Fedosenko (BELARUS - Tags: ENVIRONMENT SOCIETY)
