The accused, identified as Adam G., was convicted of violent theft leading to death, but cleared of murder. Holsbeeck, a 17-year-old teenager, was stabbed to death on April 12, 2006 after refusing to hand over his mp3 player to two muggers in Brussels' central railway station during rush hour.
