Sculptor Thomas Barlow from Colorado, United States carves a sculpture
out of a big chunk of ice at the Snow and Ice Scupture Festival Brugge
2002 in Bruges November 18, 2002. Some 30 artists from all over the
world made sculptures out of 400 tonnes of snow and a quarter of a
million kilos of ice to portray the world in all its diversity under
the theme "A World Tour in Snow and Ice". The festival opens on
