A SAND CARVER SCULPTS DURING THE SANDCASTLE FESTIVAL IN ZEEBRUGGE.
Two sand sculptors carve a creation during the Sandcastle Festival in
Zeebrugge, northern Belgium, June 23, 2002. A team of 75 carvers from
the Netherlands, The United States, Spain, France, Ireland and Belgium
are building the biggest Belgian sandcastle with "The Mystery of
Atlantis" theme. Nine million kilos of sand will be necessary for the
sculpture which will measure 80 metres in length, 60 metres wide and
will be finished for the opening of the exhibition on June 28.
