Brussels, Belgium - Kingdom of
Belgium's Prince Philippe and his new bride Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz prepare for the official family photo following their wedding in Brussels December 4. The couple, married in a civil ceremony earlier on Saturday, took their wedding vows in the three languages of this linguistically divided country. The 39-year-old future king and Mathilde, who is 13 years his junior, married first in the gothic Town Hall on Brussels's medieval Grand Place, in a ceremony conducted in French, Dutch and German. The couple then went on to the recently restored Cathedral St Michel for a religious ceremony. This is to be the last royal wedding of the century.
