Oil covered birds fly in formation over the Jadro river, close to port of city Split, January 10, 2002. Some 6000 tons of oil accidentaly spilled into the river endangering various species including ducks and sea gulls. A cement factory Dalmacijacement, owned by British company Readymix has been accused of the incident.
