A lone black swan mingles among flock of flamingoes at Ras Al-Khor
sanctuary in Dubai on November 3, 2003. The swan, which appears to be
suffering from an identity crisis, has been living with the flamingoes
for two years. Officials from the santuary say they are not only
surprised by the fact that it has joined the flamingoes but are baffled
by its origins. The bird is far away from any migratory route for its
