- FILE PHOTO 29APR93 - British soldiers patrol April 29 past a destroyed mosque in the town of Ahmici, looking for the bodies of more victims of a massacre by Croat forces in which some 60 civilians were killed. Dutch troops of the NATO led Stabilization Force (SFOR) arrested two Bosnian Croat war crimes suspects, [Vlatko Kupreskic and Anto Furundzija], December 18 after an exchange of gunfire with the former, who resisted arrest. The two are part of a group of eight Croats accused of participating in a massacre in April 1993 in and around the village of Ahmici, in which 103 Muslim civilians, including 33 women and children, were killed.
