Edmilson became the first employee with Down Syndrome at the SENAI bakery after winning an internship. He has been attending a special-needs school for the past nine years and his biggest dream is to open his own bakery some day. March 21 is the 10th World Down Syndrome Day which was launched by Down Syndrome International and this year advocates are calling on the world to empower people with Down syndrome.
