In tribute to Brazilian actress Fernanda Montegro, Brazilian fans throw rose petals at a two-meter-high replica of the Oscar awards statue in front of Rio de Janeiro's Central Station March 19. Montenegro is nominated for a Best Actress award for her performance in 'Central Station,' and the movie was nominated as well for Best Foreign Language Film. The station links Rio's suburban train lines with buses and the subway system.
