An empty plate is left at a table following a Pie and Mash Club meeting at G. Kelly's pie and mash shop in east London June 1, 2012. Each month the club get together at a different, traditional pie and mash shop and competitively eat as many eels, pies, mash, liquor (parsley sauce) and pudding with custard as they can.
