Scientists Dr. Stanley Ewen, histo-pathologist, (C) Dr. Vyvyan Howard, toxico-pathologist (R) and Ronald Finn, Hon. Research fellow of Liverpool University speak together in Westminster prior to a news conference on the harmful effects of genetically engineered food, February 12. The four scientists are calling for the re-instatement of their colleague Dr Pusztai, who advised against the use of genetically engineered foods on the 'World in Action' programme and was subsequently forced to retire, the scientists are defending Pusztai's reputation and backing his warnings about the damage genetically engineered food can do.
