A ring-tailed lemur chews on a bit of fruit from a birthday treat during celebrations at Edinburgh Zoo, Scotland to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), the charity that owns the zoo, March 18, 2009. The Society was set up in March 1909 by Thomas Gillespie, an Edinburgh lawyer who had a vision to create a zoological park for the people of Scotland.
