A tooth found in the basement of a former care home in Haut De La Garenne is displayed at a press conference, in Jersey on May 21, 2008. Police in Jersey said on Wednesday that the discovery of human remains beneath a former care home at the centre of a child abuse inquiry could lead to a murder investigation. The island's deputy police chief Lenny Harper said some of the bone fragments showed signs of having been cut and burned in a fireplace. Six milk teeth and 30 bone fragments, mostly thought to have come from children, were identified during tests on tonnes of material found in the cellars, he added.
