People are silhouetted against the Houses of Parliament as they wait in a queue to view the coffin of Britain's Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, lying in state in London's Westminster Hall April 7, 2002. In the early hours of Sunday thousands of people continued to queue for a glimpse of her coffin, before it is taken the short journey on April 9 from London's Westminster Hall to the abbey and on to its final resting place in nearby Windsor. More than 50,000 people queued to pay their last respects in the medieval splendour of Westminster Hall on Saturday after a crowd of up to 400,000 had lined the route of the cortege on Friday.
