GERMAN PROFESSOR VON HAGENS PERFORMS PUBLIC AUTOPSY IN LONDON.
German Professor Gunther von Hagens shows the heart and lungs of a 72
year old man which he removed during a public autopsy at the Atlantis
gallery in London November 20, 2002. Von Hagens is carrying out the
first public post-mortem examination in Great Britain since the 1830s
despite being threatened with arrest after Her Majesty's Inspector of
Anatomy ruled on November 19 that he did not have a licence to carry
out the autopsy.
