MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC EXAMINES ROSES AT THE ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS IN
A member of the public examines roses in full bloom at the Royal
Botanical Gardens in Kew, west London July 4, 2003. The gardens were
awarded World Heritage Status by the World Heritage Centre on Friday in
recognition of its international importance as a unique cultual
landscape. Other sites that hold World Hertiage Status include the Taj
Mahal in India, the Great Wall of China and Stonehenge in Britain.
