Britain's Prince Charles, who is Patron of the Georgian Group, visited Cressing Temple Barns and Gardens in Essex where he met volunteers restoring the 18th Century mansion house, April 27, 2004. The Cressing site comprises ancient barns and buildings and was purchased in 1987 by Essex County Council and became part of a restoration programme. Prince Charles last visited Cressing Temple Barns and Gardens in 1991 and returned on Tuesday to see further restoration, including the development of a Tudor garden.
