Bulgarian Roma children react as they are being photographed in a makeshift camp near apartment building "Block 20" in a suburb of the town of Yambol, some 300 km (186 miles) southeast of the capital Sofia, September 17, 2010. Social tensions in Yambol rose in early September, when the mayor of the southeastern Bulgarian town ordered the eviction of about 2,000 Roma from the building, which many of them occupied illegally and had made dangerous by stealing much of its metal parts and panel fixtures, local media reported. Dozens of Roma families have now opened a makeshift camp in front of the building, which is to be demolished this month, saying they have nowhere to go.
