Firefighters from Bulgaria's paramilitary Civil Defence corps extinguish a fire near the village of Levski, some 400 km east of Sofia, during a training for handling emergencies at the country's gas pipeline network on June 17. Bulgaria has a vast network of pipelines which transport Russian natural gas to local consumers and neighbouring Balkan countries.
