Bulgarian Romas walk near their flooded house in the town of Ihtiman, some 60km east of the capital Sofia, August 5, 2005. Floods, caused by torrential rains, swamped over 350 houses with water levels reaching as high as 1,5 metres above normal. Bulgaria's government declared a state of disaster and evacuated 1,500 people from their homes on Friday as a rain-swollen river breached a dam near the Balkan states capital.
