Spanish bullfighter Jesus Franco Cardeno lies on the sand at Seville's La Maestranza bullring after being gored in the face by the first fighting bull during a bullfight of the traditional April Fair on April 8. Franco Cardeno underwent surgery in the bullring's infirmary and remains hospitalised in a serious condition.
