U.S. President George W. Bush awards the Presidential Medal of Freedom to: From L-R: former CIA Director George Tenet, retired U.S. Army Gen. Tommy Franks, who oversaw combat in Afghanistan and the initial invasion of Iraq, and former Iraq administrator L. Paul Bremer, in a ceremony in the East Room of the White House, December 14, 2004.
