A goldfish swims in the tank of a new and unusual toilet which has been installed in the Cafe du Tresor in Paris. A handful of imaginative young designers have begun revitalising the image of Parisian restaurants' and cafes' dingy toilets and washrooms. Using custom-built steel fittings and everything from cheeky peep-holes to live goldfish, some of Paris's oldest public loos have been transformed into havens of wacky chic that have the city's trendiest cafe-goers queuing up to spend a penny.
