Zoo keepers lasso a crocodile for a blood test in a cage at Phnom Tamao wildlife center in Takoe province, 45 km (28 miles) south of Phnom Penh, February 4, 2009. Fauna and Flora International Cambodia is running a DNA analysis on the crocodile population at the Phnom Tamao wildlife rescue center aimed at finding purebred Siamese Crocodiles among the population of over 70 kept in the sanctuary. The Siamese Crocodile is a greatly endangered animal that used to be common in the wetlands of Southeast Asia. Estimations calculate less than 250 adults survive in the wild.
