Cambodian Royal oxen is paraded during the annual ploughing ceremony in Phnom Penh
Cambodian Royal oxen is paraded during the annual ploughing ceremony in Phnom Penh May 5, 2007. Cambodia's royal oxen predicted on Saturday the country's worst harvest in more than a decade following a ritual ploughing ceremony. After three rounds of ploughing near the royal palace, a couple of oxen were given the choice of eating dishes including rice, water, beans, sesames, corn, and rice wine, in an ancient ceremony to predict the future of the farming season. The oxen ate only half the corn and ignored the other crops, signalling a bad harvest. REUTERS/Chor Sokunthea (CAMBODIA)
