Los Angeles police officers arrest a large group of animal rights protesters from the "Animal Defense League" at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Grand St. in downtown Los Angeles after they reportedly shook the metal grates on the storefronts of nearby fur stores while marching near the Democratic National Convention on August 15, 2000. Police on the scene said they would be charged with conspiracy to commit vandalism.
