The casket containing the remains of the Canadian Unknown Soldier is placed over the tomb at the National War Monument in Ottawa, May 28. The remains of the World War I soldier, who died in battle and was buried at a cemetery at Vimy Ridge, France, was laid to rest in a tomb at the foot of the monument.
